INTRODUCTION
What if the main challenges of organisational culture were linked to how people perceive themselves and relate at work? Is it possible to transform the climate of an organisation by reducing defensive behaviours and promoting more open and responsible relationships? What impact would a culture have where each person feels safe to contribute their best?
Building a solid organisational culture requires more than processes, benefits, or value statements. It involves understanding human functioning and the dynamics that influence behaviours in organisations.
Developed by psychologist Will Schutz, PhD, the approach The Human Element®, based on the FIRO theory (Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation), establishes a clear link between self-esteem, quality of relationships, and organisational effectiveness. When self-esteem increases, levels of openness and responsibility grow, defensive behaviours decrease, and cooperation becomes more effective.
This training allows for an understanding of these mechanisms and explores the foundations of a healthy organisational culture. More than just conveying concepts, it proposes a learning experience that invites each participant to reflect on their patterns of functioning and to develop greater self-awareness. This process creates the conditions for a personal transformation that translates into a new way of relating, collaborating, and contributing to the climate of the organisation.
